THE BEAUTIES OF CHICAGO'S PARKS
The Chicago Park District includes 136 sep-
arate parks and 205 miles of boulevards and
scenic driveways, all located within the Chi-
cago city limits. Included also is the famous
Outer Drive extending for miles along the Lake
Michigan shore, with 12 bathing beaches, pic-
turesque yacht harbors and inviting golf links
along the way. In the parks are also the
famous Lincoln Park Zoo, Garfield Park Con-
servatory, Adler Planetarium, Japanese Gar-
dens, Buckingham Fountain, bird sanctuaries,
famous statues and monuments, gorgeous
displays. Spring, Summer, Fall or Win-
ter, Chicago's parks offer attraction and en-
joyment.
