The 712-million dollar new Milwaukee
Public Museum is part of the city's
civic center. Built in 1963, the build-
ing invites visitors to its doors with the
Fladoes Memorial Fountain, stylized
Indian and swans sculpture, and a
colorful Haida totem pole.
