WESTLAKE PARK.
Westlake Park is one of the beauty
spots of Los Angeles It comprises
thirty-five acres in the heart of the
aristocratic residence district. An arti-
ficial lake of ten acres lies in its cen-
ter. Hundreds of water-birds are at
home on its placid bosom and its
waters are dotted with sail and row-
boats. Summer and Winter its grounds
are resplendent with bloom. To the
Eastern tourist the winter aspect is a
constant marvel.
