DELAWARE - DOVER AIR FORCE BASE - The Head-
quarters Building of the 1607th Air Transport Wing (H)
(MATS). Dover AFB is operated and maintained by this
Wing which is under the Atlantic Division of the Military
Air Transport Service. The installation has grown to en-
compass 4000 acres of land and a total worth of
$72,000,000. 11,000,000 lbs. of cargo are being pro-
cessed and shipped each month.
