BILLY BRUTON
Born in Edgewater, Ala., and attended the public
schools of Birmingham. His talents in the sports
of basketball, baseball and swimming were no-
ticed at an early age and he proved to be a
worthy competitor in all sports, graduating to
baseball. He was brought up to the majors by
the Milwaukee organization and now plays center-
field with the Detroit Tigers of the American
League.
