RICHLAND'COUNTY CHILDREN'S HOME.
It is situated in the Southeastern part of the City on Hedges
Street. Organization effected in 1881, the first child received
May 23rd 1883. At the present time 31 children are in the Home
and 51 are placed out. The Home has 60 Acres of ground,
20 of which are under cultivation. The Building has 82 rooms
and the estimated worth of Home and Grounds is $ 60,000.
Present Superintendent is Jonathan Uhlich.
