Claremont, Riverside Drive
One of the historic landmarks of
the city, located on Riverside Drive
just above Grant's Tomb. Not far
from here Washington fought the
memorable battle of Harlem. Clare-
mont was once the residence of Jo-
seph Bonaparte, who was made
King of Spain by Napoleon.
It is now one of the leading res-
taurants in the city, and has enter-
tained numbers of famous guests.
