The Snowy Range presents no scenery of the
tremendous type, but frequently views wide in scope
and full of beauty are seen. It is eternally snow-
capped--hence its name.
The Spanish Peaks are also near Trinidad.
They are a prominent feature of the landscape.
Both these magnificent mountain views may be
seen from Santa Fe trains, crossing the southwest
corner of Colorado, en route to sunny California.
