For three-quarters of a mile the trail drops
westward, zigzagging back and forth, and from
it many views of the canyon can be seen.
It also affords an easy place and way to
study the formation of the canyon for everv
strata is plainly distinguished as the trail
drops down the wall. The temples of Buddha,
Mana, Isis, Brahma, Zoroaster, and the pyra-
mid of Cheops and
many other formations
are visible from the trail.
