| Born 1782 Died 1852. Birthplace of Daniel Webster, 2 3/4 miles from the Daniel Webster highway at lower Franklin. When built by Daniel's father, Ebenezer Webster, in 1780, it was the first frame house in Salisbury and the most northern on the route to Canada. Daniel was born here in 1782 and died at Marshfield, Mass. in 1852. |
