Little Rock, Arkansas, home of Camp Robinson, also is the
birthplace of Gen. Douglas MacArthur. He was born January
26, 1880 in the old Arsenal building (now a museum) which
was the residence of his father when the latter was on an
Army assignment here. The photograph of the general was
made on his 62d birthday, while he was directing his troops
in defense of the Philippines.
