THE MASONIC TEMPLE building covers an area
of ground 60 by 120 feet, and contains beautifully fitted up
rooms; the Blue Room, Chapter and Commandery Rooms are
considered to be the equal of any in the south. The Masonic
Temple was erected in 1900 at a cost of $40,000 which was
defrayed by the Roman Eagle Lodge No. 122, A. F. & A. M.,
Danville, Va. (Chartered in 1820),
