Many tales of Virginia City's boom
days can be substantiated by the inter-
esting relics at the Bucket of Blood
Saloon. For example the piano shown
in the background was brought by
team from New York to Dayton in
1862 and freighted from there to Vir-
ginia City where silver and gold had
created a fabulously wealthy, roaring
city.
