THE FIRE ON GLACIER POINT
At 9 P. M. on summer evenings the Fire-
fall flares from the darkness of Glacier Point.
At the conclusion of the nightly camp fire
entertainment, the burning embers are pushed
from the ledge, 3,200 feet above the Valley
and a cataract of fire falls nearly 900 feet
in a glowing cascade of orange and red.
