INDIAN KING TAVERN, on King's Highway, in
historic Haddonfield, New Jersey. Built in 1750,
this popular tavern of Revolutionary times was
Revolutionary headquarters for the Colonial, British
and Hessian forces. Within its walls, in 1777, the
first State Assembly adopted the Great Seal of
New Jersey. Open to the public daily except Mon-
day.
