A large anchor marks the last resting place of 163 men of the crew of the U. S. S. Maine, which was blown up February 15, 1898, in the harbor of Havana, Cuba, from where their bodies were brought and rein terred in the Spanish-American War section of Arlington National Cemetery in December 28, 1899.
