The Harbour. The Harbour of Toronto lies
in a large sheltered bay, protected by Hanlan's
Island, about six miles in length. The main
docks extend west and east of the foot of Yonge
Street, and here the steamships plying between
Montreal, Hamilton, Niagara and Toronto are
conveniently to be found.
