| Just outside the town is a high arched wall, now black with age and covered by creeping vines which it is believed is the ruin of a chapel built by the followers of Columbus on his second voyage to America. Candlesticks of ancient Spanish design and other portions of a Catholic altar equipment unearthed near this wall, sustain this view. |
