Rush Street Bridge spans the Chicago River at the foot
of Michigan Avenue and during the summer season is
probably the most congested spot in the city The docks
of the various excursion steamers are located at the foot of
Michigan Avenue just below the bridge. This view shows
the bridge open for the purpose of allowing one of the
numerous excursion steamers to pass through.
