Queen's Dolls' House, consists of 30 rooms, in-
cluding bathrooms, boxrooms and nurseries, together
with garage and garden, and is furnished and
decorated in the most perfect taste. Over 1,600
leading artists, authors and craftsmen have lavished
time and care upon its countless treasures. It is the
complete expression in a nutshell of the art of our
day, a gift to the Queen that will give boundless
enjoyment to all who see it. The house, which is
8 feet in length and stands 5 feet high, is to the
scale of an inch to a foot throughout. It has a
sloping roof for which no less than 3,800 tiny old
Delabole slates, quarried in North Cornwall, are
utilised.
