THE KING'S BEDROOM. An enchanting
apartment in the Queen's Dolls' House is the
King's Bedroom with its three walnut chests of
drawers, its beautiful carpet, silver Knowle chan-
delier, Chippendale chairs with needlework covered
seats, etc. The bed itself is hung with specially
woven silk and the beautiful coverlet is about the
size of a small handkerchief. Over the mantel-
piece is a portrait of Princess Mary painted by
Ambrose McEvoy.
