The King's Bathroom. The King's Bath is of a dark green marble known as Verdite and the six tiny taps work with real water, showers and spray. The enclosure of the hand-basin is of the same green marble and on a white marble shelf is a minute bottle of bath salts. The ceiling is beautifully painted, and the walls are decorated with "Punch" Cartoons by Bernard Partridge and L. Raven-Hill. There are towels one-twelfth the ordinary size and tablets of soap the size of a pea, nail brushes and sponges--all complete in this dainty and marvellous palace--the Queen's Dolls' House |
