HIGH PRESSURE STEAM ENGINE.
This engine exhibits several features peculiar to the designs of Richard
Trevithick, pioneer in the adoption of high pressure steam, and would
appear to date from about 1820 It was last used in 1882 at a Salt
Works at Ingestre, near Stafford.
