ing devoted to displays of collections. Here is
featured an outstanding exhibit of lighting de
vices illustrating the development of artificial
illumination The Tap-Room, Ladies' Parlor,
Great Room and Bar, Barber Shop, Tobacconist's
Shop and the Keeper's Room display collections
of woodenware, wood carving, glass, pewter
and china. The lower floor contains a large col-
lection of labor saving inventions and mechani.
cal gadgets used in the homes of ingenious New
Englanders.
