WARD-BELMONT, NASHVILLE.
Ward-Belmont, with an enrollment of between
600 and 700 young women, is perhaps the largest
college for women in the South. Over thirty
States are represented in the student body. In
1913 Belmont College, (1890), and Ward Semi-
nary, (1865), were consolidated, forming the
present institution. The magnificent buildings
and grounds in the southern environs of Nashville
are one of the show places of the city.
