This magnificent Gothic cathedral erected
by the Indianapolis bodies of the Scot-
tish Rite occupies half of an entire
block at North and Meridian Streets.
is highly ornamented with emblematic de
signs in cut stone, and beautified WinGym
bolical stained glass windows. Its 30M
tower rises 212 feet and houses a carillon or
"singing bells" one of the greatest in the
world.
