MACKY AUDITORIUM
Of the twenty-two buildings that comprise the
University of Colorado, the Macky Auditorium is
the most beautiful. Located at the northern part
of the campus, just east of University Lake, it
bears the solemnity of some great castle. This
beautiful administration building was donated by
Andrew J. Macky for the benefit and enjoyment
of the student body. The structure was built of
red sandstone and marble at a cost of $300,000.
