PARK. The famous battle fought at Trenton, on Jan. 3rd, 1777
has been commemorated with a colossal statue of Washington.
The statue stands in Cadwalader Park, on the exact spot where
Washington planted the cannon during this encounter, which
defeated the British and was the turning point of the Revolution.
