GENERAL VIEW OF BERGEN, NOR-
WAY-Bergen is a seaport on the west coast
of Norway, about 25 miles from the open
sea, on a bay of the Bjfiord, which forms
a safe harbor. The town is well built, but
has many narrow streets, and houses mostly
of wood. The principal industry being cod-
liver oil and dried fish.
