9 NORTH FRONT ST. & SHOT TOWER
Baltimore, Maryland
Built ca. 1794, the house was restored by and
is the headquarters of the Women's Civic League.
It was the home of Thorowgood Smith, Baltimore's
second Mayor and is listed by the National
Register of Historic Places. The Shot Tower,
built in 1828, 246 feet high, is the last remaining
structure of its kind. Behind it is the Main Post
Office.
