The year-round family resort and convention centre of
Fairmont Hot Springs is situated 188 miles southwest of
Calgary, Alberta, and 70 miles north of Cranbrook in
southeastern British Columbia. The Springs, from which
the name is derived, are part of the great chain of
mineral hot springs that extend along the whole western
mountainous belt of North America. Their healthy, relaxing
qualities are doubly welcome after a full day of outdoor
activities (winter and summer) at the resort.
