FISH WEIR AT LOW TIDE, BAY OF FUNDY, NOVA SCOTIA
This typical fishing weir of the Bay of Fundy readily demonstrates the
phenomenal tides witnessed there. From low to high water, about a six
and one-half hour period, the water level will increase as much as forty
feet. As the tide "goes out" catches from the sea are captured and
removed from the fish weir.
