Home of the Wilderness Playground
Swan Hills, Alberta is located on Highway 33 in the Heart of
the Grizzly Trail. It is situated 125 km northwest of
Edmonton in the beautiful rolling hills. The petroleum
industry is the major employer, along with the Alberta
Special Waste Treatment Centre located 11 km north and
east of town. Swan Hills boasts excellent wilderness
camping, stream fishing and hunting. (Including moose,
deer, and bear).
