Had BCT here in May 1965. Unit was C-2-2. The Drill Sergeant Program was new then and we had both DI and hard-hat cadre. My Platoon Sergeant was SFC Mendez and Senior Drill Sergeant Starling. Anyone else have these guys?

My unit was c5-1my drill sergeant was Allen Yancy. Training was hard but necessary because I got shipped to Vietnam after AIT and NCOC school at Fort Benning Ga.
