Halstead Hospital founded in 1902 by Dr. Arthur E.
Hertzler: the School of Nursing in 1905. Both are con-
ducted by the Sisters of St. Joseph, Wichita, Kansas since
1933. The Hospital is approved by the Joint Commission
of Accreditation of Hospitals: the School of Nursing is
accredited by the Kansas State Board of Nurse Registra-
tion and Nurse Education and the National League for
Nursing.
