Located next to Indian Hill, the site of old Fort Yuma and a
mile from Yuma, Arizona. Fort Yuma and the City of Yuma
were named for the Yuma Indian Tribe that occupied the
Lower Colorado River in ancient times, now known as the
Quechans.
