The Pennsylvania Station covers the entire area from
Seventh to Eight Avenues and 31st to 33rd Streets. It is
connected with New Jersey by twin tunnels under the Hudson
River, 60 feet below the surface, also connected with Long Island
by tunnels under 32nd and 33rd Streets Station was opened
on Sept. 8, 1910, cost of entire work over $100,000,000.
