Railroad Station
The Pennsylvania Station covers
the entire area from Seventh to
Eighth Avenues and 31st to 33d
Streets. It is connected with New
Jersey by twin tunnels under the
Hudson River, 60 feet below the sur-
face, also connected with Long Isl-
and by tunnels under 32nd and 33rd
Streets. Station was opened on Sept.
8, 1910, cost of entire work over
$100,000,000.
