The Crocodile is a huge reptile resembling
the Lizard, found in or near the Nile and
other rivers of Africa. It is about twenty-
five feet long, and its hind feet are palmated,

Egyptian's. It dashes with great rapidity
through the water after fish, its usual food,
and is dangerous to dogs and human beings
lingering incautiously on the banks.
