About Rainier National Park, I think.
is a wonderful
place.
Paradise Inn is an interesting structure. Built almost entirely
of weathered-gray Alaska Cedar logs, taken from the Silver Forest
nearby. Its wonderful assembly room-50'x110'-shows this open
log construction entirely to the ridge pole, 78' above the floor level.
There are some massive tables and other heavy furniture constructed
from these cedar logs. The wood takes a very high polish and shows
to splendid advantage in this semi-rustic furniture. Paradise Inn is
well equipped and offers first class accommodation.
