The Corridor and Rotunda occupy the second floor, these
corridors are the most spacious and artistically arranged in
the whole country. They are graced by 20 columns of light gray
marble, 25 feet high, weighing 25,000 pounds each. Two main
stairways lead to the 3rd floor; these are broad, massive, and
well proportioned, giving the corridor a very majestic
appearance.. The rotunda occupies the center of the 2nd floor.
With its beautiful paintings and wonderfully arranged chan-
deliers, it is a marvel of artistic beauty.
