The Grandfather Tree adjoins Richardson
Grove State Park. This redwood tree is
world famous for its picturesque qualities. It
stretches 245 feet tall with one of the largest
tree trunks on the Redwood Highway mea-
suring 24 feet in diameter and 55 feet in cir-
cumference. This tourist facility provides you
with picnicking, restrooms, gift shop, snack
