The former home of the American League “Orioles” and
National Football League “Colts” has been resurrected as the
temporary home of Baltimore's new NFL team, pending com-
pletion of the new stadium in the Camden Yards area. Opened
in 1954, Memorial Stadium served Baltimore well as the site
of 6 World Series of baseball and an NFL Championship
game.
