THE G E SIGN
Has become a Schenectady landmark since being
erected in 1926. Of the 1399 long lasting lightbulbs in the
sign, 668 are in the G E monogram. The holiday colors
require a change to 278 red and 390 green bulbs in the
monogram. The red, white and blue version may have
been used only for the Bi-Centennial and Desert Storm.
