THE DIVING BOARD
No. 2
One of the Scout requirements is to be able to swim and it is.
quite natural that their camp is usually placed near a good stream or
lake which will provide the morning dip and in order to secure the
greatest pleasure from this sport, the Scouts here have built a diving
board by anchoring a plank under the stones on the shore and laying
it over a buck they have made by binding saplings together with
thongs-tools in this case, as in most instances in Scout life being
considered unnecessary.
