Princeton - Home of Grover Cleveland. Grover
Cleveland, twenty-second President of the United States,
was born in Caldwell, N.J., on March 18th, 1837. He was
twice elected to the office of Chief Magistrate, having
served from 1885 to 1889 and from 1893 to 1897. On June 2d,
1886, he married Frances Folsom. At the expiration of
his second term, Cleveland with his wife and family retired
to their Princeton home-"Westland "-passing the greater
part of each year there in a quiet, unostentatious lite of
comfort and ease. Cleveland died there on June 24th, 1908.
