The Great Kentucky Lake is the largest
man-made body of water in the world.
Created by TVA's huge Kentucky Dam (8,650
feet long) across the Tennessee River in
Western Kentucky. The Lake is 184 miles
long with a shore line of 2,400 miles-stretch-
ing from Western Kentucky through Western
Tennessee to the Alabama state line. Ken-
tucky Lake is the vacation paradise.
