The original 200-inch telescope Disc weighs twenty
tons, and is the largest piece of glass in the world. It is
on exhibition daily, free to the people at the Observatory
Museum, which was dedicated September 2, 1939. On
March 25, 1934, the Disc was poured at Corning Glass
Works.
