This is the Rolling Green Dairy, barn and crop
storage storehouse erected with the latest im-
provements for the care and feeding of cattle.
The barn houses 36 Guernsey cows that give
the highest grade of milk. The dairy building
has a roof, covered with from three to six
inches of water, an installation that keeps the
stable cool in summer. The dairy is built of
cinder blocks, lined with tile inside. The feed
part of the dairy is joined to the dairy stable
and the hay storage barn is attached to the
feed storage, all on ground level. Alfalfa, soy
beans and corn silage are placed in the air-
tight feed storehouse, which is 40 feet high
and 14 feet wide. It unloads at the bottom.
