The Coudersport Ice Mine is not a place
where ice is mined, but is a wonderful freak
of Nature in which beautiful and fantastic
ice formations appear during spring, sum-
mer and fall, but melt on approach of cold
weather. Summer temperature, 25 to 32 de-
grees Fahrenheit. Located on Roosevelt High-
way four_miles east from Coudersport, Potter
County, Pa., and west from Galeton, Potter
County, Pa., 21 miles. Visited annually by
thousands.
